First Hike of 2014
The Vernon's and the Kok's took on the first hike of the hiking season this weekend. We successfully avoided traffic to our starting point by taking various detours. Starting on Warner Road we hiked through to the Royal Niagara Golf Club where we separated ways to get the car and finish off the trail by walking down the old Welland Canal. It was a muddy hike with Hannah being the only girl with boots - a very happy girl with boots. The kids played survivor making bows and arrows, catching deer and building camps along the way. It was an adventure.
